Feeling like your meditation practice could use a little nudge? Whether you’ve been meditating for years or have just toyed with the idea, Journey Into Meditation is for you. In this afternoon session, Chris will start with a short, gentle asana practice to make sure your body is prepared for stillness, and from there you’ll dive into a few different types of meditation. All of which will include space for discussion and questions on topics such as what meditation is, what it isn’t, and common myths. Here you will learn the basics of this type of practice, how to apply it to your life, its benefits as an antidote to stress, and leave feeling prepared with the tools you need to begin a meditation practice on your own!
No yoga or meditation experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat.
