AUTUMN ALCHEMY RETREAT

As we move into autumn, the active, expansive energy of summer shifts to a deeper, more introspective energy. This is the perfect time to transition to a slower pace, feel an element of “letting go,” and focus on your mind and soul. Join us for 4 days and 3 nights in the Catskills to make this transition, surrounded by nature, and immersed in a diverse community of women.

What’s included:

  • 4 day and 3 night stay at The beautiful Akera retreat center located in the Catskill Mountains foothills in Woodbourne, New York.

  • 6 yoga sessions + 1 workshop led by Megan Cannon + Tori Reynolds

  • 8 private chef prepared meals, including dinner the night of arrival and breakfast before departure. Dietary needs can be accommodated.

  • Access to on-site sauna, cold plunge, and star dome

  • Time with an intimate group of like-minded practitioners practicing yoga, meditating, journaling, nature bathing, sauna-ing, star gazing, and more til your heart’s content!

Where You’ll Stay:

  • Akera is situated on 123 acres of pristine Catskills nature, including serene forests, rolling meadows, babbling waters, horizon views with both sunrises and sunsets, and diverse wildlife.

  • Designed with love to ignite your sense of childlike wonder and inspiration, the property consists of multiple shared houses, all designed with comfort and tranquility in mind!

  • The Lodge where we will practice is an open 20'x35' space to gather, create and play till your heart's content, with a fully wood paneled interior, and smooth wood flooring, equipped with all the props we will need for class.

  • Enjoy connecting to nature and relaxing in the timeliness barrel shape 8 person sauna while taking in the aromatic scents of cedar and the panoramic views of the fields, distant mountains and forest.

  • Take a walk over to experience a 6 meter dome, which houses an immersive, multi-sensory psychoactive experience that weaves together breathwork, sound healing and sacred geometry to create a space of awakening, self-love, expanded consciousness and healing.

  • The original dome not enough? Check out the new Star Dome, a 3K Sq Ft wooden geodesic dome perched on the top of the property, for the horizon mountain views, housing a cozy gathering space and 3 bathrooms.

  • There is an indoor fireplace, large kitchen and communal meal area, and plenty of lounging areas on the first floors of the houses.

  • Traveling solo? No problem! Some of the rooms can be booked as a single, and for the shared rooms we are happy to coordinate you with other solo travelers.

The Grand Chalet is a perfect getaway and gathering place for close friends and family. The Swiss-style chalet is nestled atop a hill on 123 acres of woodlands and wild forests, with epic natural views from every side and window. The chalet and its grounds provide a perfect place to immerse yourself in nature while having the comfort and privacy of a beautiful home. The Grand Chalet consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

Bedroom 1

  • Perfect for solo travelers or close friends open to sharing a bed, this quaint room with a queen bed and daybed (not quite full size) with access to a shared bathroom (shared with bedroom 2). With wood paneled walls, mountain views, and a unique antique Chinese daybed, this room is cozy and truly one of a kind.

  • $2190 for single, $1390 per person if shared

Bedroom 2

  • Perfect for solo travelers open to sharing space, or a group of friends/family, this quaint room with a King bed (or 2 twin beds) and trundle bed with access to shared bathroom downstairs. A cozy haven tucked in the top floor of this grand house, this room is quiet and sweet, gazing directly into the forest.

Bedroom 3

  • Perfect for solo travelers open to sharing space, or a group of friends/family, this spacious room with a King bed (or 2 twin beds) and trundle bed with private bathroom. Cottage core meets lush luxury, this is a spacious room which features custom wallpapered wall and a picture window with rolling mountain views.

Bedroom 4

  • Perfect for solo travelers open to sharing space, or a group of friends/family, this spacious room with a King bed (or 2 twin beds) and trundle bed with private full bathroom and access to Le Petit Chalet (read on below). This sensual room offers refuge, with an artistic custom accent wall and mountain views, this room is spacious and luxurious.

The Petite Chalet

Le Petite Chalet is a luxurious and rustic space to be enjoyed alone, with companions or as a family. The chalet's lower floor has its own private wooden deck facing a field bordered by the forest. The upper floor loft bedroom features large windows with mountain view that will make you feel like you are immersed, yet comfortably sheltered in the forest. This very large (25x25) shared bedroom room has a queen, king, and sitting area that converts for sleeping into two twin beds, and downstairs shared bathroom.

The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is a like a Moroccan speakeasy meeting a Goddess temple. It is a welcoming safe haven of tranquility, where life is sacred and trauma is healed, where humans and other animals can find refuge and exist in peace with dignity. The Sanctuary was created as a place, a mission, a way of life, and a state of being. It evokes an experience in a safe space where presence, connection, and transformation can occur. The Sanctuary includes 3 bedrooms, 1 bonus room that has convertible beds, and 2.5 bathrooms

  • Premium room with queen bed with access to shared hallway bathrooms and kitchenette, gathering space with stage. You enter this room through custom wooden doors and arched doorway to find this light filled plastered sanctuary room.
