Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep”, is a relaxation practice that has been around for hundreds of years. During the practice, Sara Ordway will get you set up as comfortable as possible using all the fixins' (bolsters, blankets, the whole shebang) and guide you through layers of consciousness into an “awake” sleep through mental images and sensations. When you emerge from class, you will feel well-rested and deeply relaxed.
Yoga nidra is a wonderful practice to add to your self care routine, and is accessible for all humans and any (or no) yoga experience!
